Welcome Potential Members!
We are so excited that you are considering joining the Junior League of Albany, GA. The League works toward the betterment of our community through giving back to multiple organizations. We give back with service of our time and talents, and by fundraising and collecting items for donation. Joining is also a great way to meet new people, make friends, and make business connections.
For the 2023-2026 League years, we will provide financial support to Open Arms Inc. of Albany, Georgia, a local non-profit organization devoted to helping children and their families in the community who need support and/or intervention as a result of child abuse and homelessness. We also provide financial support to Children’s Miracle Network at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as well as volunteer for other organizations that help benefit the community.
Our League year runs from June to May, with meetings and obligations starting in September. We host “Meet & Greet” events for potential members typically in the Summer months. Please complete the Prospective Member Form to receive an email with event information. This is a great time to meet our members and learn more about the League. We encourage you to bring a friend and hopefully make more friends!
Prospective members wishing to join the upcoming Provisional class should complete the Prospective Member Form by August 31.
